Regarding MG1 and MG2SS, this isn’t really that surprising considering that the 1st iteration of Subsistence on PS2 already had both OG MSX games baked into it. Then the 2nd go around was the HD Collection on PS3/360/Vita. If i’m not mistaken, the Wii also had the MSX games on their digital storefront for Japanese

As someone who’s played MGS4 to death, and still plays it once in a while, I hope there’s a Vol 2! I can only play it on my PS3 cuz emulating it on my aging PC is basically the equivalent to watching paint dry.

MGS4 was the most painful and monotonous platinum trophy I've ever earned and I'd absolutely do it again.

Man I’d be down for that, I love MGS4 with all it’s jank ass shit

God, I hope so. For as messy and uneven as MGS4 is, it still has its charms and it’s a shame it’s been out of print for so long.

Fingers and eyes crossed on that one.

I’m constantly amazed that the husk of Gamestop has shambled this far...I went into one for probably the first time since the Switch launch to pick up TotK, and it’s such a shell of its former glory. There are so many fewer games themselves in the store, with a higher proportion being taken over by meme shirts,

Sure you do. I didn’t buy “Tears of the Kingdom” for that very reason.  I’ll get it lower eventually.  Nintendo won’t officially discount it ever (They never do) but someone will run a sale someday.  There is plenty of other stuff to play in the meantime.

No it’s a pretty awesome classic

But it was always and still is A FUN FILM!

That’s a very valid complaint! I don’t think ID42 had an idea for David beyond Full Goldblum.

Yep. The difference between “gamers” (the average joe, who just buys & plays games, the vast majority of the market), or “gamers” (the vocal screamers on forums, who think they represent the majority but don’t remotely).

I really, really, really hate saying this but...

I can't remember the last game I bought at full price. With the amount of backlog I can wait for a sale.

Capitalism means voting with your wallet. You're totally spot on. These companies are totally listening to the ONLY feedback that matters to them, $$$. And by that feedback they are doing EVERYTHING correct.

Look, I’m all for consumer rights, and for telling corporations to **** themselves. But it is honestly stupidly amazing we’ve managed to hold the line at $60 for so long, and $70 is probably honestly overdue.

Zelnick should check out the comments on literally any story about these pricey titles”

This is the problem with so many sequels. The execs all think “just add young people,” and it should work while completely missing what made the original entertaining.

“[Fox executives] also wanted to concentrate on the younger pilots, who didn’t have as much to do with the original Independence Day,” Devlin said. “They thought that young people wouldn’t want to watch Jeff Goldblum, which I thought was crazy”
