Even if they do, the kind of people who take out loans from TitleMax aren’t financially sophisticated and most won’t understand the truth in lending page. These people have probably never had a credit card and may not have had a bank loan of any kind. Not even automotive, their car may be a beater they scraped enough

These do, the loan term is one month and the interest rate stated is for the term of the loan - 1 month. Those who go to places like this are not the most educated and many just want the money and will sign; they are a type of pawnshop

I’ll admit I’m not the financial expert here, but my understanding is that the 30-day nature of these loans makes any sort of truth in lending page confusing at best and deceitful at worst. It keeps rolling over into a new loan until you pay it off, but the terms of the loan are month-to-month.

Literally the only one on Getty.

That’s not quite how the comments go.....

However, you are right that “disposable” is a poor choice of words. You then keep using it to make a claim that is, I would say, the demonstrably false one. All you have to do is look at human history and the value placed on entertainment even when we were subsistence living.

Anything that isn’t necessary to survive is disposable.

Imagine being ok paying full price for a game that then asks you to pay more money to access content that is already in the game.....a game you paid full price for.

Battle passes are essentially a measure to apply pressure to the player and evoke the fear of missing out on certain items. Which they’ll do if they don’t log into the game daily. If battle passes were a fair mechanic you’d be able to keep and complete them whenever you wanted.

Seriously ... why aren’t collectible

you think that way because you only see games as disposable entertainment

The bullets return to you and you need to keep dodging them.

The issue is you are paying $70+ for a new game and they’re locking some of the content behind another pay wall. personally I don’t care so long as it’s only cosmetic but I can see why a lot of people get frustrated with it as it feels like they’re being nickel and dimed after already paying a hefty premium for the

do you have it pre-ordered?

Color scheme, clothing style, and toss in the “inner demon” thing, it’s pretty obvious who it is. Even the pose is the type you’d expect to see in Jojo.

Something about Johnson’s Peculiar Journey really makes me laugh.

The onus on not being spoiled is on the one not wanting to be spoiled.

It’s entirely possible to continue to avoid spoilers for the overwhelming majority of media unless someone is being an asshole and going out of their way to spoil things in locations where a spoiler wouldn’t be expected (i.e. a spoiler about the

It’s not just the age. It the question of why someone would watch a stream or longplay of a game they’d want to play spoiler-free and be surprised by spoilers.

Japanese company still has backwards-ass practices towards the internet, weather at eight.

I used to really love Persona.

The way people talk about AC games you’d think they’d play like medieval Hitman games, but they don’t. They sort of did for the first couple but even then, the games are more about atmosphere and (bloated) storytelling than they are about being an assassin. The climbing mechanics are a hit, but they’re hardly
