“I forgot to tighten my lug nuts to spec” I think you nailed it: he didn’t forget, he probably used an analog torque wrench instead of a digital one and that wheel ended up with its lug nuts 1.5 inch-pound under spec. Then as the corner was approached and the accelerator was depressed undesirable events occurred.

Never mind it was a digital > analog joke reference apparently too old for most folks

No I’m saying analog isn’t as accurate as digital when your BMW tires are 0.3 psi off.  Maybe I’ve been here too long

Lug nuts are probably the most critical fastener that “plenty tight” is an adequate spec. I’ve never used a torque wrench on a lug nut. I’ve also lost a wheel, but it was because I didn’t tighten the lugs, not because I didn’t torque them to a specific number.

I prefer CornHub to get my media

I bet it works (not) as good as those lawn mowers that you hook a hose to to clean the deck. Only works well if it’s used every time and you don’t have a lot of accumulated clippings in the deck.

It‘s a bedet!

How dare you underestimate me, sir. I’ll have you know I don’t know much about a lot of things.

Yeah, but on the other hand they were probably going pretty fast to lose control and end up in the trees like that.

But does Sentry Mode keep records of everyone the car has kept you safe from?

Anything is a bidet, if you’re brave enough...

The auto transmission also often have a dedicated oil cooler that further separates the tow ratings.

I’m love/hate with this thing.

The auto has a torque converter, not a clutch.

I think people are already anticipating dudes who buy this simply cause it looks cool”

It’s called a clutch.

Even at max tow weight, it’s got a better power to weight ratio than a Crosstrek.  /s

If only Harley had a brand or two earlier that appealed to a different/younger demographic
