The Japanese even tried giving us cars that scaled this concept up to US dimensions in the 1st gen XB, the Cube, and even bigger, the Element. As the previous owner of an Element, I can attest that very little was prioritized over utility. The seats were miserable for driving any distance, but maximized cargo or

An ok bean counter doesn’t always get the total number of beans right, but usually close enough to work with.

In a cramped extended can backseat, though, those were so much better than the forward facing seats in other trucks. At least if you only had one passenger back there, they had the full width of the truck as leg room, rather than being stuck in the fetal position.

Nah, too directly related to the product/service. Gotta be a little less descriptive. And spelled “creatively”.

Ski resorts.

I’ve seen it over and over at work- a valet retrieves a car, owner requested it to be left running to warm up in the frigid Vermont winter. Valet brings the fob in as they would normally, but the car is ready to go.  And not all will let you lock with the fob once they are running.  The owner shows up, sees their car,

Right? How is self-preservation not enough to get people to do this?

I’m personally baffled by the fact that people open their doors into traffic without looking, never mind watching for cyclists specifically.

I tend to avoid bicycling on roads, but asserting your space is huge on two wheels.

That is terrifying.

I highly doubt this will be seen by anyone with over 500 comments already, but I’m not prepared to face the shitstorm if I share my thoughts on Facebook, do in dining them here.

I got pretty good at finding kill switches during the 4 years I was a valet. Most people remember to tell you. Those that don’t are long gone by the time you try starting the car.

That photo makes me SO happy. I don’t have my Element any more, but I did all the measurements when I did and came away confident that my Sportster would fit in it with the speedo removed for height clearance.

I had mine for 4 years and took it out exactly once. Then wondered why I’d bothered. I did pop it open quite often.

And this might be the only useful implementation of that removability I've seen.

But the fourth one stayed up. And that’s what you’re going to get, Son, the strongest [Jeep] in all of [Michigan]."

Speaking of Nissan, the Armada had that same weird transition from round to straight at the c-pillar for a while, and I’ve always found it jarring.

That particular shot didn’t bother me much, as the shot of the e-tron logo came and went so quickly. It’s less distracting than obviously debadged cars to me. And way less blatant than the transformers movies. At least as of the last time I watched one. 2010 maybe?

I don’t really get it. It looks like “wild angry concept car#xxxx” by BEST CAR COMPANY

I haven’t taken the used lot’s decal of the car I bought this winter yet, but within a day I had the chunky rubber sticker that the original dealer put on the key (thanks Planet Subaru, wherever you are). It was awful, and I can’t believe someone left it on there for nearly 7 years.
