If by “BMW fix” you mean luxury car.. then yeah I’d be fine with this Hyundai. If by “BMW fix” you mean scary overpriced maintenance and parts... yeah I’m not really interested in that fix.
Get rid of the chicken tax and watch truck prices come down with the big three actually have to fairly compete.
I remember when you could get a cheap new small truck like a ranger and s-10 with regular cab and nothing. It was cheap and more reliable than a used truck and perfect to send a kid to college in. no back seat for driving other around in or to get pregnant in. the bed to haul stuff to and from college. What parent can…
Plenty of people in my area constantly complain about how outrageous new truck prices are now. And then they go out and buy them anyway.
You’re right, it had far less shit to go wrong on it.
I am also in my early 30s, and the first new vehicle I bought was a 2003 Nissan Frontier. The only thing powered was the locks and steering and had AC. There was no stereo, (I was going to put a new one in anyways) it was a standard transmission, crank windows. It was the most stripped out base model they sold, sticker…
15 years ago, the same truck would have cost you under $20k...
Think about this, how many times do people actually use the back seat of any vehicle. I bet 99 percent of the time it is empty. I rather have a useful bed in a truck than to have a pokey bed that most crew cab trucks have.
Neutral: Mazda and Subaru merge to form a 4th power to rival Honda, Toyota, and Nissan.
I’ve noticed that a lot of work trucks now are crew cabs. I’ve always wondered if this is because it makes more sense because businesses actually need to get crews to job sites, or if it is just because that is what most trucks are now.
But it doesn’t come with mirrors.
I’m not that old. Hell, I’m in my early 30s. Even I remember when the least expensive new vehicle you could buy was almost always a pickup.
While I’d still drive a car with 215k, I’d rather own it before it hits that. My current cars have 115, 145, and 205 thousand miles but I bought them at 28, 119, and 160 thousand respectively. 205 is a bit high for my buy-in mileage as who knows what it would take to “drive it till it dies”. No one scoffs at a car…
Yeah i feel u on that. Its why i dont go to Germany now...the whole 1940’s thing
Not in my opinion, it’s one of the very few cars I actually find great looking. I’m old and hate the design of most “modern” cars. Squished eggs with angry bug front ends with squinty headlight eyes. No thanks.
I feel like every pitch made at SRT headquarters is followed by a 3 minute air guitar solo
