I had one pull up once where the fob was apparently lost somewhere in the car. No way to secure it.

Reminds me of one used car dealer that I recently noticed has a bunch of low-priced Tacomas. Every single one had a photo inside a wheel well, showing a shot of the clean, black, frame. And the texture of the rust that had been painted over. Won't be stopping there for anything, thank you.

If you have an open differential, that drive wheel without the snow tire will be spinning any time you're on the gas.

“WHY IS MY VIDEO SIDEWAYS THIS PHONE IS STUPID", would be my guess

Found it

I wish I could give you a star for each of these.

I have.  Rear seats removed, it will go in diagonally.  Then needs to be secured as the tailgate/hatch have to stay open to accommodate it.  Not ideal, but possible.

Perfect example. Sometimes I wonder if the folks in the comments here are intentionally misunderstanding what these cars are and what purpose they serve.

I’ll have to check it out. I’ve been reading oversteer pretty sporadically, and should have plenty to catch up on.

Same. I nearly failed my driving test over parallel parking. Then I worked as a valet. Not so much doing it on the street, but maneuvering cars into whatever vaguely car-shaped void I could find got me there, as the same procedure can apply to other awkward and tight parking situation.

These “SUV” lineups are not the same as the ‘90s and ‘00s. Most of the crossovers out there are only marginally less efficient than the equivalent sedan/hatchback/wagon. I doubt even $5 gas will create the kind of mpg panic we saw then. And if it does, I wouldn’t be surprised to see the innumerate dumping gas cars for

We’re not ridiculing the kid here- she’s the victim.

I dunno if Fghij (pronounced fug-AYJ), is gonna go over much better with the pre-teen crowd, or hiring managers for that matter.

I know what you mean. Whatever rust you can see, there’s probably ten times as much that you can’t. Still, I bet he bought himself some time with all this work.

I think there's someone with a postal Jeep that could use your new skills.

Want to know how I know the editors didn’t read this?

They always forget the Element.

I know it works in my Element, with many snowy miles on it.  It has helped, but it's generally garbage.

Ugh,I hear you on the Element. I work at a ski resort and commute up the mountain in all weather, so i consider AWD and snow tires non-optional equipment. My Element is barely not fwd. Climbing a snowy grade, the front wheels constantly lose traction and drop to one side before the rears kick in and straighten it out,

Without picturing any in particular, my first thought was Cadillac. Glad I wasn’t alone.
