Oh man, I'm sorry if you thought that was true. I admit it was pretty dry, but it was just a dumb joke for fellow Jalops who would know it was BS.

Not German. Just trying to poke a little pedantic fun about the meaning of “romance language”.
Because it's not a language that evolved from Latin? Not sure what that has to do with it.
That’s been consistent on every auto Subaru I’ve driven built in the last 20ish years, across different transmissions, including CVTs. Like the above poster says, I'm guessing it’s intentional at this point. I’ve had some older ones almost stall themselves out shifting into drive on a cold day because the transmission…
A successor to the Honda Element, but without the build quality? I'm... Maybe interested?
I’ve been rewatching all of Next Generation since it showed up on Netflix. It has agreed among well. I approve of this idea
I hate bedbugs more than any of you can imagine. You’re creeped out by them? great. Me too. You’re worried about the sanitary concerns of their presence? OK. (They aren’t known to spread any disease)
Good.
My MIL bought one of these a couple of years back. She was so proud, and it was so hard to play along. It’s awful. It replaced a Jeep Compass, so the bar was low, but it didn't get raised any by that thing.
“sneak peak”
I don’t think a plane would be quarantined over food poisoning. I’d guess that the suspicion is that the food was contaminated with something that could be contagious, BECAUSE of the symptoms that aren’t consistent with food poisoning.
Actually, today is my day off after a busy holiday weekend at work. Enjoy returning to work everyone! You had your fun and now it’s my turn
Thank you for confirming. I’m still getting stars on the original post, so it blows my mind that no one had said this before me. I waited a day before posting it because I thought it was too obvious. Then I read the comments and no one mentioned it. Looks like we have a lot of teaching to do
I’m late to the game here, but thanks David for being our Labor Day Jalopnik. I’m sure most of this was written ahead of time, and I don’t blame you. But as someone who works holidays, (everyone’s day off is my overtime. Hospitality FTW!1!?) it’s nice to have things to read after work when most sites have taken the…
Well, you did confirm the location of the screw, so mission accomplished, right?
I’m honestly more impressed with how well they do such a precise job considering that they’re entirely mechanical. That a block of metal full of passages and springs and smaller bits of metal can come as close as they do to what modern, precise, computerized systems do is pretty awesome if you ask me.
Sounds nice. Unfortunately for me, my hour is not worth $500.
I’m not convinced that you’re not both psychos, because you are both arguing on the internet. I also don’t pretend to be any better, because I’m here too. But in my Internet arguing lifetime, Jalopnik is one of the few places I’ve argued with reasonable people. I was glad to see both of you confirm that.
I wish I could make this response to both you and Drive Like Shit, because this, folks is a rare occasion. An internet argument ended up with both people coming to a sort of understanding. Bravo.
He knows what he's doing, after all
