Here in the great state of Vermont, we don’t need a title to register cars older than 16 years. So, currently, ‘02 and older do not need a title. If my calculations are correct, this Nissan is in fact old enough to skip the title, no twenties under the counter required, just a bill of sale.

I haven’t seen this mentioned, but I always feel like it’s a nice touch when inspecting rare/valuable/collectible machinery to do so with your hands behind your back. It helps keep that grabby smeary impulse at bay, and makes it clear to the owner, if they are present, that your intentions are to look only.

Ugh, now I'm angry all over again. So many guides in forms ruined.

I don’t think there is that much difference in how people are treating him from “one of us”. The difference is that Musk is a prominent figure about whose opinions exponentially more people care.

Nah, dude. That's totally Elon.  If I'm wrong just go ahead and sue me. We'll figure it out in court

I don't know you, but I like you.

Oh it helps a lot for sure. But it also sounds like you know how to use it and what to expect.

Shhh.  I get 90% of my warm fuzzy smug feelings over the winter when people think AWD/4WD means "magical traction".

Personally, I wouldn’t do that to someone’s car from Turo unless specifically allowed by the owner, but I’m sure many would.

We were probably there within a couple of days off each other. All I had to play with was a rented Kia Sportage though. With the traction situation of the salt, 80mph was pretty sketchy, after doing a comfortable 85 all the way from Salt Lake on I-80.

You’ve gotta think long-term. Throw in some marbles or rocks and let them take weeks to figure out where the rattling is coming from.

It’s like a sign telling the world "I don't use the bed of my truck. Because I can't anymore!"

Have you driven one? Every one I’ve been in, the suspension feels like a water bed. Floaty, wobbly, unpredictable. I imagine it would be... Exciting.... To drive the speed limit in one on the highway.

You and me both. Not to mention my landlord

As a Vermonter, I have to say you've a good point.

I have it a good hosing off at a car wash after for that exact reason.

I just flew back from salt lake visiting my wife’s family last week, and have been kicking myself for not checking the dates for speed week before planning the trip. It’s surreal and amazing out there, and I WILL return for the racing one day.

Not sure why I thought gecko started with gi-.  Please disregard

I honestly don’t care how you prefer to pronounce filename extensions, but

Why don’t you take a flying fuck at the moooooon?
