Looks like the intent was for cars that don’t have hydraulic lifters. Good advice for those with solid lifters, though.

The first owner ruined it for the street
Pastime is a word. It means what you were saying.
I mean, the idea of a car that can drive me home from the bar is fantastic...
I honestly can’t tell if this post is sincere or trying to parody people who like cars. And guns, apparently.
It’s a Honda Element and it’s green. I don’t have any trouble
Thoroughly enjoyed that. Your awkwardness with the southern bunch was hilarious and skidplate racing is simply the best.
The most reliable indicator that shit just got serious
Sounds like problems I have had with just about every car I’ve owned... Exhaust leaks, holes in the body letting gases in.
As I understand it, there’s a heavy steel bar or guard of sorts that takes all the impacts and isn’t part of the bridge’s structure. For exactly that reason
Correction: In Vermont that truck would have a wood flatbed by now.
I was just making a quick check to see if there’d been any fun evening content before turning in for the night. Now I’m staying up because how am I supposed to sleep knowing this is happening?
The mechanic said he needed a new steering rack
I hear you. I work at a ski resort. Most of my drive to work is spent at 4-5k rpms
Fair enough. And I, personally, would keep my 03 Element over a factory fresh Equinox.
I know the Equinox is garbage. I’ve spent some time in a company owned 2012-ish Traverse and came away with the same impression. But I had to laugh at the comparison to your Evoque.
Probably. Though the ones I’ve seen locally are usually pretty cheap. They don’t seem to take well to Vermont’s road salt though and most are barely if at all salvageable rust buckets.
I had one as a Tracker. From what I see in the comments, we all want one again
28 year old me wants one
