I’m gonna guess she drive off without the fob in the car. Most, if not all, once they are started, will continue to run and drive even if the fob is gone. Until you shut off the car, that is.
Water based lube is a huge help with tire changes, so... Yeah.

This is only somewhat related, but now that we’re seeing promising hybrid sport cars, when do we get manual CVTs.
Bonus points if that clutch pedal locks into a dead pedal that I can rest my foot on or just idly push in and out while the car does its thing.
This is it. I have a 4 speed auto that lets me select 1 or 2 and lets me lock out 4 with “o/d off”. In a roundabout way compared to more modern transmissions, I can tell it what gear to be in at any given point.
