So, buy a Civic?

That merc makes me tingle all over.

The one I saw had very clearly been driven it’s whole life and looked to have only had one owner judging by all of the BMW CCA autocross and track day stickers starting in the 90's. The guy has clearly done right by the car.

There is an E36 LTW that I spotted in Los Altos, CA. I can’t believe these actually exist.

That Merc is hot, but I would take the E30 M3 Evo in a heartbeat.

My apologies. You may take my jalop card. I did intend E36. I do understand my mistake and promise not never let it happen again.

Is there such a thing?

The 190 E 2.5-16 Evolution II.

E36 Touring. Eligible to import starting next year. Wish me luck.

There’s one that was driven often enough that I saw it multiples times either on the road, or at cars and coffee almost 10 years ago. Same color, great condition too.
I have two terrible pictures I took from 09 of it, but I can’t see the plate. I wonder if its the same car.

Nah.

That thinking is a pattern/problem that I seem to have noticed - on both sides of the situation (manufacturer and customer): the comparison of a sedan to a CUV - a CUV which is entirely smaller.

I just watched this movie over the weekend, the decision based solely on this one gif. I love the reaction.

I lean center-right and I cringed when tRump was elected. I get tired of people that know my political bent asking me why I will not support the orange hair asshole.

I had money ready for the new Focus ST, so I’m one of the loud voices. My only knock on the current gen is the lack of interior refinement (my 8 year old Mazda 6 is nicer sadly). It’s been interesting to see the internal arguments. Most haters are mad that we’re throwing away what the ST name built just to sell

No, it’s a Green Envy Fiesta ST. There definitely isn’t as much torque steer as the Focus ST, but there’s still some. Just enough to be fun and not annoying. I pull it intentionally. It’s really easy to do the same turn with barely any, but sometimes it’s just fun to be a bit dumb.

I’d wager money that an otherwise stock FiST with a sequential gearbox/good DSG would cut almost 1.5 seconds off the 0-60.

I’m surprised to find that’s the case (and I feel like I’ve been surprised about the 0-60 on the ST before and just forgotten). To others’ points, I imagine it largely has to do with gearing and having to do that second shift into 3rd to hit 60.  Also I might just be underestimating how much wheel spin a 272 HP FWD

If only we could get an Elantra N..... Oh Please Hyundai!!!
