I never understood why purple wasn’t more of a staple color. Is it really THAT much more polarizing than dark blue?

Mazda - “It just flees right”
Many of them are seemingly designed for people who drive around with the seatback at a 45 degree incline. If you sit with the seatback more upright, the headrests are canted so far forward that the seats are all but unusable. It’s helpful if they tilt-adjust but many do not.
He said 85K cost of restoration, not value of car. Maybe he’s hoping someone infers the value of a concours restored car based on that, without further investigation. I can see a concours level restoration costing 85k with this as a starting point. But much cheaper and faster to buy one already done, unless you want…
We’ll know it’s the end of the line when they name the ‘real’ Mustang the Mustang Classic.
Most parking tickets are a scam anyway
Weirdly, it’s more difficult to do this when molding things out of cheap plastics than when things are wrapped in leather or vinyl. So that’s why so many car interiors are so drab, or have ‘splashes’ of color unless they are luxury cars. But it’s so nice when they do it.
Modern safety and all that, but things get heavy when you get big power. I’m sure that twin-turbo V8 is heavier, and then they have to beef up the entire drivetrain to handle the torque. Then add in bigger wheels and tires, bigger big brakes, larger bodywork to cover them, some aero bits, etc. and it all adds up. You…
Basically, no. All cars sold here must be tested/certified to comply with regulations, including those for crash performance. Those are typically FMVSS regulatory standards, and either you comply or you don’t. The NHTSA testing here largely compares crash safety performance among different vehicles to provide insight…
Driving in left lane (not passing) - ~$200 fine
They should have spent their development money on a new Elise with a Corolla GR engine instead of that thing.
Would not be surprised if inside the case, the electronics were identical. This just seems like a case of two different companies sourcing parts from the same supplier.
Yes, but for the most part, normies haven’t bought sporty cars in any real volume since the 90's, so in this day and age it should be standard fare for a RWD sports car. Especially one with 400HP.
Nothing did more to ruin the looks of convertibles than the giant swollen rear end required to package a retractable hardtop.
Typical PA driver is in left lane doing under the speed limit. Or maybe that’s just when they come to NJ.
But rather than say the car wasn’t packaged well, every sales guy that got asked about the half-opening window just spouted BS that it was a safety feature so people would accept it.
I don’t mind the touchscreens and most of the tech. But for the most part the newer cars just aren’t as fun. The idea of being ‘at one’ with the vehicle is most appealing to me. But newer cars often fall at the other end of the spectrum. With all these safety systems and features beeping or blinking or tugging at the…
The Moke, because all you have to do is flip the first letter over.
That’s the black edge molding stuff that looks like hell? Whenever I see that and pin stripes on a car I make a note to never go to that dealer. Usually, it’s the same dealers in any given area. It’s a subtle clue that they are just one of those kinds of dealers.
Beep. By 2029 there will be so many things in cars beeping at you that this won’t even matter. Beep.
