My reaction to all of this:

I think using it would only divide the country further? It’s bad enough when the GOP threatens this shit or actively does it. 

I think we’ll see more of that. But I think the hesitation is that it’s a travesty of gestapo like tactics that the Dems/Left generally don’t like to employ. You know principles and morals etc...
