HOT. DOGS.

Supporting someone for thirteen months should start feeling a little lopsided!

I used Athenos brand feta. It came out creamy, mild and not too salty. What surprised me was how bright the tomatoes tasted. I just wanted to skip the pasta and eat it like a dip.

Im knitting a temperature blanket for my sister and her fiance using their wedding colors. I’m also planning ahead on my next project by buying books that have sexy lingerie patterns since I’ve been down in the dumps and gained weight during the pandemic. Trying to make it a confidence booster for myself.

You and I are kindred spirits. If the kitchen is good, I can deal with the rest. When and if you move the next time, don’t short change yourself.

Congrats on learning Spanish!

We are here for you.  I don’t know all the details (and no one could claim to), but I do know you are strong.  Use your strength in whatever way you can to help move forward.

I don't know what to do.

I hope it is not impertinent to ask, but you call him the Bartender. Is he atually working and tending bar or any other gameful employment? I don’t think you should wait for him to say how he will make money, but I think you should ask him how he is going to make money.

I need to move in with you. I made chicken parm today (I love it, but damn, it dirties every dish in the house to produce.

Hi Andy—and I applaud you on learning Spanish! Yes, it’s harder to learn languages as we age, but you’re immersed (or will be once you can go out into the world) and that should help. And, well, Spanish is lovely.

Hey everyone! We’ve reached the “cats and wine” stage of the evening. I’m trying to devote at least one hour each day to learning Spanish. Man, when I think how relatively easy it was to learn beginner Spanish in high school, and Italian in college, it makes my current pace of learning roughly a slow slog. Alas.

For anyone who suffers from IBS; I’ve recently pretty much eliminated (heh; a little intestinal humour there), yeast leavened bread from my diet, and have had several weeks symptom free.

Rest up my friend. Sounds like you need it after all that. And poor hubs. I’m sure it was very stressful for him to watch you go through that. My husband has been on that side a few times when I landed in the hospital with my Crohn’s in serious condition. We are very lucky to have partners like that.

Damn straight he’s a keeper ;-).  That boy went through hell last night and took care of me the whole time.  I told him that if I die first, he has to put this story in his online dating profile though. How many guys can literally blow your mind?

How monumentally weird! I’m glad that you seem to have no permanent effects, and are back to normal.

Oh God, I hear you so hard on Groundhog Day. Everything you’re describing-the days are just bleeding into each other, and I’m very very fortunate that I get to spend my pandemic with the only person I really want to be with, and that we’re pretty damn safe, but still. I get up, I work online, I eat, I maybe work

What’s worse: that my upcoming monthly Costco run is something I am desperately looking forward to OR that even in the Before Times going to Costco was a highlight of my month?

It’s a beautiful day on the shores of Lake Erie. The best part is that it is warm enough for the first time this year for kids to run around outside.
