Summer, 1992: I’m asked by my boss to escort a candidate for a tech position to her office from the front door of our offices. I do. Over the next three years we become such good friends everyone thinks we’re dating.
Summer, 1995: we move in together (after dating for about two weeks)
Winter, 1997: reader, I married him.

I used to be his boss. When his wife left him, I listened to him navigate 50/50 parenting and learning to live apart from his ex-wife for the first time in almost 20 years. We always had good energy together as co-workers, but due to the fact that he’s a redneck and I’m a pretty liberal dark-skinned Indian woman, I

This is Jezebel, for FFS. Names and locations can be changed, but for fucks sake give us the specifics on the drugs.

Met Mr. Penguin working at a local grocery store. He was working in the frozen department, I was working as a front end manager for the checkers, and we interacted because we would have to call department help at times when it got really busy.

Also, I’ve tried Outlander. I read the first 4 novels back in the early 00s, and loved the first one. I cannot for the life of me remember anything about the next 3 except the scene where Claire and Jamie reunite. I’ve tried the show and can’t get into it either. I’m not sure why - it’s everything I normally love, but

2021 goal: read all of the Wolf Hall novels. I read A Place of Greater Safety, which is one of her earlier novels about the French Revolution. It’s dense (think brick) and requires a fairly comprehensive awareness of people and places but is worth the read just for the imaginative brilliance.

Every bit of my good health vibes and prayers are being sent your way.  Hang in there.  ❤

Holy shit y’all, I bought a house!

Gimme that Frankie Knuckles alllllll day
