To put cards’ price in perspective, $220 is more than a Switch Lite and only $80 shy of the total price of the Xbox Series S

Counting consoles I’ve owned or played a decent amount at the time of generational change, gauging from my interpretations of console generations, I’ve been through six generational changes. not including the unreleased Xbox Series/PS5.
Atari 2600/Colecovision -> NES/Master System -> SNES/Genesis -> Saturn/PSX/N64 ->…
Yeah, this next gen release is probably the weakest one we’ve had yet, seeing as how most everything is still available on current gen consoles. So, at this point, it doesn’t really seem worth fighting the pre-order hordes for what amounts to faster load times and slightly better graphics.
A missed opportunity to name the studio Snowstorm and begin work on several games titled things like Displaced Norsemen, Baphomet, and Battleworks.
Given the illegality of non-nintendo sites hosting nintendo games, It’s not unreasonable for someone not very familiar with the ins and outs of video games to see this and assume that it was made by nintendo. IIRC, the the bar for “Brand Confusion” is finding people who are actually confused. Yes, most would see this…

Sure, a series X preorder would be nice, but the part that baffles me is that, at launch, you’re not missing anything other than slightly sharper graphics and load speed if you’ve got an at least an original release Xbone. Heck, if you have the One X, you techncially have more power than the people with the Series S.
The big thing is that SHB was very clearly a parody, as the names were changed and the similarities were vague. While anyone with half a brain would likely see that the Peach game is not clearly a nintendo product, it certainly presents itself similar enough that it can cause brand confusion.
In Japan, they call it “Super Hornio USA”
Super Hornio Brothers One and Two!
Ironically, playing 3D All Stars today really hammers home how weird some of the control decisions feel when compared to the current. They were great for the time, but the fact that Mario 64's camera constantly pans toward where the developers think it should be leads to frustrating instances of falling off of small…
Well, It makes sense. In light of Bowsette, I feel like Mario realized “gay bowser” likely doesn’t properly identify Bowser’s proper Sexuality/Gender Identity.
Consider this, though: Apple has the large market share due in part to the fact that they wall everything off. It’s Extremely user friendly - it’s safe, it’s simple, and there’s no way to screw it up. Their 30% cut doesn’t seem to be excessive at all when compared to other app stores, so their perceived consumer…
The walled Garden has its purpose. As someone who spends a lot of time going in between products, the walled garden, while being a shit place for people who want/need options and freedom, can be a very user friendly, safe place for things to just work without giving people direct access to a ton of options they’ll…
In May, PCGamesN noted that registered Fortnite users are up by 100 million from 2019.
I’m glad it works. In trying to find a PC option for streaming, I saw that the phone requirements insisted bluetooth, which is kind of silly.
...you can’t just plug your controller in to your phone?
Seems like not the best move, especially considering how nothing (Aside from Spider-man, which includes a second game) looks impressive enough to warrant the extra 10 on the pricetag. I mean, I’m sure Demon’s Souls will sell regardless, because Souls, but Destruction Allstars doesn’t look like it brings anything…
Between Mario Oddysey and Breath of the Wild, Nintendo does seem to be eschewing some franchise ideology in favor of giving people an open world and tools, and letting them discover what they can do on their own. It’s a lot of fun, but it certainly does stray from the core concepts just a bit.
