Even if Cid resents Shera for her part in destroying his dream, that can be communicated in a far healthier way.

Doom.

Whoa whoa whoa, don’t you put Barbie and Oppenheimer up there with such untouchable perfection as time bandits and moscow on the hudson!

You realize that about half of your list is sequels and adaptations? And that the list contains three sequels to movies already on the list? And that several movies that don’t have sequels listed in this list absolutely did receive sequels in the same decade as the original?

Kinda undermines your point a wee bit.

It’s not a perfect game but I really don’t see anyone else making true open-world RPGs with a focus on character and story.

Imagine a game. Its soon-to-be hero, of unknown but mutable name and gender, awakens with a start, only to suddenly be thrust into a grand adventure in a larger world. So the definition of “bad” game here is, “Game that is OK but the internet either shit the bed over or flat out ignored.”

Nobody expects the dragon age inquisition!

My two biggest issues in the game were
A) The realization that the four player characters are literally the ninja turtles, down do their colors and personality traits, making me eye roll whenever plot happened
B) The “glide” travel ability - One of the most fun bits of the game and an essential for a Batman-ish game, is

Ugh, can we stop taking inflated buy it now prices and pretending that they’re the actual value of an item as opposed to an impatient idiot tax?
