Same, there’s usually a definite standout I like the look of and a definite one I physically recoil at. This time I’m genuinely not sure which one I’m gonna go for.

Felt absolutely burned by Sword & Shield, haven’t played but have heard good things about Arceus, and now this seems to be taking that direction. I’m still weary, but it does look to be heading in the direction I’d always expected a Switch mainline entry should be.
I can’t comment on her role in what got her fired, so there’s a more general point that stood out to me.
Controlling the ‘image’ of a cartoon in that way seems nuts. I understand controlling an idol’s own, physical image - even if I find it disgusting: It’s their physicality that’s on sale.
But this is like if Warner…
Really not a fan of this “they’re trying to make it realistic” defence (even if it’s true!). That is the last thing I’d ever want from Street Fighter.
I want onlookers in Amazonian river ports cheering me on as electricity arcs from my green body.
That’s not just any giraffe. Judging by its posture and... shoes(?), that’s Toys R Us’ Geoffrey.
I haven’t played FFXIV since ‘14 but it was one of the only MMOs I actually enjoyed and felt was immersive. Had I the money I’d gladly get back into it. Or just save my pennies until the next Dragon Quest comes out.
That immediately struck me too. It doesn’t exactly encapsulate the fun of the series.
Oh, I’ll count myself lucky, then! I’d like to get back into obtaining PSP titles. I didn’t give it enough love and would like to track down the first 3 Persona titles.
My brother is well into collecting old SEGA games, though draws the line at sealed I suppose. He’ll settle for “nice”.
accidental post.
Are the pixel remasters all for mobile devices/ steam?
I have FF1 on PSP (somewhere) and haven’t played it in 7 years, but would I be correct in assuming that it differs from these recent pixel remasters in some way?
I like the cursed Kewpie Doll one.
The urge to blink seems to ignore winking, I’ve found.
My take on piracy is very context dependent. For the sake of saving these games for archival purposes, then I’m all for taking them rather than see them gone forever.
Not just “couldn’t gave a shit” about preservation, but they appear to have an actively hostile stance which seems plain crazy to me.
I’m usually cynical of shared universes, but honestly I like everything about this.
I haven’t seen this meme in ages and goddamn if it didn’t just get me.
Was absolutely convinced Kirby was gonna literally eat the rich.
I’ve only ever used 2 strategy guides, one was an unofficial Pokemon Red/Blue one and was great because I’d already finished the game. It was fun to collect all the hidden items, and know each Pokemon’s move list in advance so I could plan what I wanted from each.
The other was a walkthrough for Star Fox Adventures in…
Oh wow I didn’t realise there were rules to how they wrote their titles. NOW they sound graceful!
