It’s £50 for both, no option to download each separately.

I had to look this up and now remember the trophy vividly!

This is exactly what I mean! So many takes people have and a lot of em make sense!

I’ve read so many different ideas about what the four lords represent. Different entries in the game, homages to other horror games, horror genres, named after different horror characters etc.

It makes them so interesting and so frustrating when they fall short of what they could be.

You know I’ve got the full boxset of The Dark is Rising and still haven’t read it yet. Heard Robert McFarlane loves it and so I was intrigued. Seems one to save for the winter.

I’m hoping after Panzer Dragoon Zwei gets the remake/ remaster treatment they’ll move on to Saga. I never got around to playing it but it’s allegedly a gem and deserves to be celebrated more.

In regard to other IP -  Burning Rangers?

`I wish I could be spooked by her!

Oh shhhh I’ve only gotten into DQ since XI, which I got for the Switch in 2019. My lockdown last year was spent making good progress in that, and I’m now doing post-game. The game just keeps on giving.

I remember them planning a Monsters title with a young Erik but that looked doomed. Maybe it’ll make a comeback?

I do love PS1 style for horror. The lack of expression definitely makes them more uncanny and sinister. Dimitrescu is way too campy (among other things) to be frightening with more lifelike graphics.

The portrait of her in-game doesn’t seem to have scars of any kind, though maybe that’s just cos it’s a portrait and it’s supposed to be flattering.

I think the weird growth on her face is since getting the Cadou/mold powers.

The baby bit is by far and away the scariest moment. I’ve only seen play throughs but I’m assuming its reveal is real time? It’s certainly not a dramatic or dynamic entrance and that’s what makes it all the more horrific. It just lumbers around the corner from a room you know was empty before.

Thematically it’d seem

Collectors mindset has always fascinated me. I do it myself with toys. I’ve never grown out of them, and it’s only been in the past 6 or so years did I realise my upbringing was not great. They probably provided a safe area of my life that I could invest in and control because they’re literally objects.

I imagine

I feel like that’s somehow more impressive than sticking his hand back on.

I love that she reminds me of the old ToyBiz Resident Evil figures.

I can just imagine she’d have one of those swinging waist features that allow her to smack other toys over.

“I expected the Rocky Mountains to be a little rockier than this...”

That herbal medicine is amazing. Even mends his jacket sleeve, too!

This is a good jump scare.

SPOILERS:

So’s the window puzzle. Maybe not on par with “oven man” but the timing was nice.

Is this the way most people play it, I wonder? It’d mean interacting with her more. The playthrough I saw had the player return all the pieces one-by-one, so when she did appear it was in very small increments until she just went back upstairs. They played very quickly, though, so I didn’t even know she could stalk

I dunno whether I’m misremembering, but I recall Mendez being featured heavily in Resident Evil 4's marketing and of course he was just the first major boss of the game. I expected this of Dimitrescu.

SPOILERS:

I’ve been watching a no-commentary let’s play of it. So far, so typical.
And then the part you briefly allude to in your review - THAT appears out of nowhere, and it’s like something from another game. Easily the most frightening part. Its reveal is great in how there’s no dramatic cutscene distancing you
