Gotta eat ‘em all! I found my brother’s gold-plated Mewtwo “card” he got from BK around that time. It came in a chrome Pokeball with a spring- loaded opening mechanism and a little certificate of authenticity.

That’s been covered here too. https://kotaku.com/the-father-of-the-game-boy-was-not-killed-by-yakuza-5789740

20 years ago....damn. I went to see it in April 2000 for my friend’s 11th birthday. We went to Blockbuster afterwards to pick up some Jungle booster packs.

Looks like he whiffed his own fart.

Seeing some of those designs has made me realise I want Lego Jet Set Radio.

Just imagine Capt. Onishima with his oversized grey Lego pistol and his ridiculous hair piece. Or the articulated arm on the back of the Noise Tanks that holds their spray can.

There’s no beat after he says “waddaya buyin’?” so he sounds like he’s really nervous and explaining a joke that didn’t even get a chance to land.

I didn’t with the highlighted image, but that last screenshot really does jump out at me as being some sort of deformed penguin creature.

Wonder what his deal is. Even the certificate about a hearing disorder was returned? I guess he must be convincing himself, to a point.

Silent Debuggers looks great! I can see how it might be tense knowing that safe areas gradually disappear. I love the art work, too!

I went into Alien: Isolation basically blind. I had heard it was good, but I thought “so it should be! It’s Alien!” All I can say is damn did they do a good job making an iconic, and by

I feel the same with horror games. I was exposed to Resident Evil from too young an age when it was first released, and the Silent Hill demo with the corpse on the fence soon after sealed the deal.

“I’ll make it not so that you CAN’T do it, but that you can. And then I’ll make it so that once you do it 10 times, the character will give unique lines of dialogue to emphasise that you’re bad and you get a trophy. And you’ll feel so punished by this that you’ll take a long, hard look in the mirror and stop

Yeah, Capcom knew exactly what they were doing when they created her.

Yes, exactly! I’ve spent several comebacks to this game aimlessly wandering or re-exploring dead ends only to finally put two and two together, and realise what the current obstacle is to progression.

There was a boss in, I think, the Japanese release of Gunstar Super Heroes: it was a giant tombstone with “your save file” written on it, and it would descend from the top of the screen as you madly escape from it in a vertical scrolling level.

I’ve hit a crossroads with Hollow Knight. Last time I played it must’ve been early 2020 before the pandemic hit and I discovered a whole bunch of new areas and two boss fights in the game.

It’s great, and I’d love to beat the main story before Silk Song is released, but if put down for a while it takes forever to

Similar thing with Gundam models I’ve seen recently. People posting their ‘backlogs’ which are often years’ worth of unmade model kits. Ridiculous.

The thumbnail for the article definitely makes it noticeable. Disappointed it reads “Final”.

That’s the bit I wanna know! What’s their political Roblox roleplay all about?

I like that Nintendo had to acknowledge that it does indeed look like Bowser’s cock enough to have it taken down.

Have never had the intention of playing it, but I did buy a few of the smaller figures a few years ago. They were really neat! Decent articulation, lots of variety in the sculpts, and a fair few accessories all for a decent price.

I chopped most of em up to customise before realising the type of plastic used was not
