I remember my friend and I thinking how weird he was giving the presentation of the Switchblade back in 2012.

XV is such a weird game. I enjoyed it definitely, but moreso just wandering, doing side quests and dungeon crawling while listening to the boys bicker. The story itself was completely lost on me, and I refuse to buy extra media to understand the plot of the main attraction.

I am thankful for Shenmue. It made me appreciate the overlooked, everyday aspects of living and I have been curious about seemingly mundane details since. It makes humdrum routines more bearable.

I won’t really offer my opinion on the whole thing anywhere else so here it is; I am absolutely of two minds about the whole thing.

I’m personally finding Sword and Shield to be enjoyable. That’s all I can say in regards to positives; I am a sucker for Pokemon and the nostalgia will most likely never go away.
