When I say “no” arcades, I don’t mean literally zero. 

I remember Yu Suzuki saying there’d be so many chapters that possibly fit into 4 or 5 games. And I remember hearing of that before the kickstarter was announced (either that or I just assumed it would be and got the idea from nowhere).

I’m currently enjoying Sips’ streaming of it. His first effort involved wasting 39k on a vets, staff room, toilets, two food stalls and a path leading to one (1) spider. 

I get where you’re coming from but that also opens up the possibility of more Shenmue and that makes me super happy.

Absolutely great to hear, honestly. I have been so nervous for this game since Shnemue I & II are my favourite games of all time. The focus on the mundane and pedestrian life makes me super happy. Can’t wait!
