It has since been confirmed by Honda that the Prelude concept is a hybrid, not a full BEV. Which also explains the FWD layout, since they likely used an existing platform for this show car. My guess is that actually makes it more likely to see production, given that Honda just pulled the plug (pardon the pun) on

Depends on if there are pre payment penalties on the loan or not. If not, then there’s almost no interest paid within the first payment cycle.

That’s absolutely not how loans work.

I don’t know if this may be true in specific circumstances, but it’s never been true on any car loan I’ve had. I’ve paid off multiple car loans early, and I’ve only ever paid the remaining principle.

I’ll believe it when I see it.

It’s a boring answer, but it really is the Model T, and there’s really no contest. The entire landscape of the country and world was changed because of it, it irreversibly altered how cities were designed, essentially created the idea of the suburbs, and a million other things. Others cars have done more for pop

This is good info. The other thought that I had was this: If we’re really interested in pedestrian safety, we should be thinking not about banning driving maneuvers like right on red but about road and intersection design. How many of these intersections with right on red could be redesigned as roundabouts? Doing that

This is some victim blaming bullshit, and assumes that all pedestrian strikes occur when the pedestrian is entering the cross-walk from the “right” side of the road.

Because we all know what the answer is.

The Yellow S2000 is very nice also

by some QI, you mean all right?

So, one police officer overlooks the incident because it’s just a child. No harm done.

I tried, but it wasn’t until after I finished my dissertation that I found out the program wasn’t accredited. $250,000 in student loans down the drain just like that.

Between the increasing cost, environmental issues (i.e. cow farts and the chemicals used to tan the hides) and other issues like veganism, animal welfare, etc., leather is rapidly becoming to the 21st century what fur was to the late 20th century.”

My opinion of a CEO and/or company in general absolutely affects my purchasing decisions. I want my next vehicle to be an EV or at minimum a hybrid, and I will absolutely not buy a Tesla. 1/3 is that I just don’t vibe with the designs, 1/3 is inconsistent quality control, fit & finish, and 1/3 is Musk being a giant

It seems reddit itself has now gone dark, as I am unable to even reach the site.
