Now that you mention it, it is strange that vehicle licensing tests have no section on car mechanical safety and upkeep.

They’ve gotten way aggressive here in St Louis also. I never used to get passed on subdivision streets, because I myself usually drive 10+ over the limit, but now I get passed regularly by people driving 60+ in a 25 or 30mph zone.
