as I was watching it I cycled through about 3 or 4 different games that I saw similarities. First, Skyrim, for the rugged looking protagonist in a prison cell. Then Assassin's creed for all the climbing and swordplay, and with the hand "magic", reminded me a lot of Bioshock.

nah, its a modern mock-up of one. My folks have one, it has a record player on top, cassette player and am/fm radio below, all in a big "wood" chassis with an "old time-y" look.
