The alternate being to use the matchmaking feature in *every(!)* other game mode to meet people, get to know them, and form friendships. I agree, there should be either proximity chat, or at least text chat in the tower, but since there isn't *yet*, just use strikes, missions, or PvP as a conduit to reach out to

I've been arguing this for over a month now, ever since they made the announcement. I think they are making the right call. People are acting like Bungie is excluding people based on skin color or gender or something. It's just a matter of finding people who you play well with, and asking them if they'd like to be

Destiny. I have the White PS4 Destiny bundle on it's way via Amazon. I will be sitting on the porch, wagging my proverbial tail and drooling when the delivery person arrives. I'm pretty sure I will play Destiny for most of September, followed by Destiny, Destiny, and maybe a little Destiny.

I considered myself a geek before I declared myself a "Gamer". I still think of myself as a "gamer" in the traditional sense, but really, this ENTIRE issue is really just a small part of a much, MUCH larger problem going on in the world. There are so many people, each with their own individual identities and opinions.

lol. pretty easy to lose faith in humanity when shit like this becomes mainstream, eh? It just makes you worry about when it's going to happen to you, or someone you know. It's just such a fucked up situation. Between this, and dick heads like the guys DDoS'ing all these sites/services, and other, less recent crimes

See, people are knocking you, but I agree. What is stopping a group of feminists from making a game of their own? Nothing to do with segregation. it's called artistic freedom. There is no law against sexism/racism in games. Developers just don't do it because of the negative feedback. And that is how it should be. So

So, we are going to ignore the fact that you *also* kidnap a male and ferry him in the trunk of a car, all the while, he's begging for his life, and you can easily just blow up the car, and think nothing of it (I felt a little guilty, and was going to let him go, but a train decided that wasn't a good idea) in GTAV,

I'm sure you're just trollin, lulz, but "An allegedly terrifying demo called P.T. was announced and released during Sony's Gamescom conference, and people flocked to the PS Store to download it. It turned out to be a teaser for this mega-project"

I'll stick with Destiny and, if I feel the need to play an FPS, I think Battlefield is where I'm going to look. CoD seems like it's for the .. younger crowd. Not a dig on the people who play it, but it's just so twitchy and fast, with the TTK being like 2 or 3 bullets (seemingly).

So either, you were in a fireteam, and one of them killed something, or perhaps you get a small amount of experience when your super charges (never paid attention). either way, lol @ speeder skills :P I've rolled mine countless times as well. It's almost like watching a ship sink "no, no No, NO NO NO!!! damn." *hold

This reminds me of early highschool. I was never a huge bizkit fan, but they were present. Now all we need is an Insane Clown Posse twitch, where they play Battlefield 4, and talk about the "good old days" for me to be thoroughly traumatized.

The first nation to come out with power suits wins all future threads like this, for ever.

To be honest, I actually expected, nay.. anticipated this. I plan to put at least $20 more into the online portion, as that is the true reason I bought the game.

Proud to admit I preordered GTAV from Amazon today, had to pay tax (damn WA state!) but I got an amazon gift card for my cakeday, and I signed up for that free month of Amazon Prime, so I got free release-day shipping. Win-win. :D

Rains of Castamere... too soon :'(

Well, now is the time people. Are we just going to continue to let Microsoft, and these other big-name, rich corporations run a train on us, and tell us what we can and can not do? Throwing more, and more restrictions and censorship our way?

I'll be there on Friday, Hope I get a chance to run into the Kotaku crew! That would be awesome :)

Rex wasn't that big in MGS4. at least it didn't seem like it.

I'm sure they could come up with some underground dungeons, caves, oasis dungeons, etc. There is far more to deserts than just sand. and who's to say Hyrule doesn't have even more interesting deserts? :)
