I have to imagine we’ll see them again. Picard’s off earth and “engage” and “make it so”-ing across the galaxy, but we haven’t had our Riker/Troi reunion, which I’m assuming is on earth...

Considering how bad the Federation and Starfleet treated the Romulans, I’d hate to see what happened to the Cardassians after the Dominion War. They probably sold them off as meat to zoos.

Now playing

The vaporizer was odd because having a chemically addicted person in the Utopian Earth was odd. The writers have no idea how to handle a Utopia or near paradise and it really shows with Rafi.

I’m glad he explained the sunglasses as an intimidation tactic, because Vulcans would presumably be better adapted to bright sunlight than humans are; they have those inner eyelids and such, after all.

“Little?”

Cut yourself some slack, bud.

The very last scene of the very last episode needs to have the camera pan out and we see it was all just a MMORPG someone is playing on their computer.  Then it pans out further and we see it’s BOB NEWHART playing it.

DANY

Bran you form the legs!!  Oh fuck

If she quotes Swamp Thing she becomes president by default. It’s in the Constitution; look it up.

I didn’t start it immediately but so many people I know were RAVING every week. I started and was like, well I guess this is ok OMG I AM IN LOVE WITH EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS.

I think we can all look at the bulk of Marvel’s Netflix slate for evidence of arcs being padded to fill out a too-long season.

Also is it bad that people want more complicated story telling from TV shows?

My girlfriend is very much into the same nerdery I am, and the MCU in particular. She knows that late night Thursday first showings have been my thing since long before she and I met. Apropos of nothing, she says to me the other day:

Oh, for fuck’s sake ... THE BONE! PICK UP THE FUCKING BONE SO I CAN GET ON WITH THIS!”

It seems like you’re all discussing the same great book but I can’t figure out the title/author from the thread. I want to make sassy in-jokes too!

I know everyone knows him as Lucious Malfoy, but he was great as Michael Britten in Awake. Such an original and well done drama, that it was never going to make it on network TV. He’s come a long way since telling you that you shouldn’t trust someone that got a C- in Astro Physics. Rules to live by, in my book.

It’s really, really good. There’s a scene toward the beginning that’s one of the best “attack” scenes I’ve ever seen in my life. Very solid 8.9. Definitely in the top 5 zombie movies I’ve ever seen.

It feels like I’ve been waiting years for the release of this.

Hayley Atwell would be a better choice... mainly because I want to see more of her in any capacity.
