I like that! Not only robshapiro002, but 0megapart1cle and DonPhelippe are also guest stars.

This show has had massive buzz and word of mouth since well before the first episode officially aired. If you somehow missed all that, you know where the fault belongs. Thankfully, most people seemed to get a hint, since this was the biggest show of the summer other than Fear the Walking Dead.

This show has massive word of mouth, and has had it since well before the show officially premiered (they intentionally leaked the pilot well ahead of time on nearly every platform in existence). If you somehow didn’t get a reason to watch it from all that, the fault is absolutely not on the marketing department.

You need to watch the rest of this series. Your synopsis is pretty accurate, except the last sentence :)

Uhm, this was the biggest show of the summer before Fear the Walking Dead premiered. I’m pretty sure it is pretty far from the periphery.

So I’m going to take this thread to it’s logical conclusion and advise io9 staffers to keep an eye out for Spiderwoman appearing and solving office squabbles when Esther is conspicuously absent.

What do you have against the awesomeness that is Orange is the New Black? What do you watch, anyways?

I assume by that you mean the awesomeness of Episodes, and the incredible swing in awesomeness from Joey to Episodes, brought TV back. :)

I really don’t see that. There are a few weak episodes in Season 7 (Liaisons, Phantasms, Sub Rosa, and Eye of the Beholder), IMO. I don’t see how you can say its hit rate isn’t very similar to all the other seasons (after 2).

The final couple seasons of TNG were lackluster !!!#%#%@! Going to have to wholeheartedly disagree!!! The first couple seasons, sure. But pretty much every episode in the last couple seasons was fantastic, in my opinion (and every other opinion I have ever heard)

I like both of these shows, but I’m really looking forward to The Expanse. I’m reading Nemesis Games (the latest book in the series that the show is based on) now, and really enjoying it. There really is a wealth of material that would look gorgeous onscreen.

I did. (My school was Grades 2-12) But the articles point is valid, because I certainly never had the same teacher for multiple years for most of my classes.

I think Trank was probably overwhelmed, having to deal with the demands of a huge Hollywood studio that never really trusted him, coming from a tiny movie where he had complete control. But how much of that is Fox’s fault, for hiring someone not just inexperienced, but that they didn’t have any real confidence in from

Great idea. Now I’m picturing the Atom appearing as Clark on Supergirl (he has some experience in that role :) )

The 4 Non Blondes moment was truly spine-tinglingly good television. And the series just got better from there.

So are NASA’s image processing algorithms partial to crabs like Google’s are partial to dogs?

Couldn’t they do it like jets and refueling ships. Just dock in mid-air and then they both go on their way. Drop the baby egg onto the egg of the father and then they take turns carrying it around on their backs.

All the Matrix movies are terrible?!? ALL! Them be fighten’ words!

Yea, that sounds interesting, but it also sounds like a movie that Tom Cruise would have zero to minimal scenes in. I can’t imagine he would be ok with that.

Someone needs to photoshop that image with his tongue licking his “nose” (the tip of his mask).
