I’m a very consistent cheerleader for the original run. I haven’t read the Gage run yet, but the Slott run was the definitive love letter to Peter Parker, despite him only barely being involved.
By all accounts, considering comic sales from the time, there were at least 60-70k of us. Contrary to the constant mouth foaming from the “any change is bad” crowd (Especially fun in comics, where any change is, at best, being reverted inside of 5 years), it was a consistent seller for its entire run (Really only…
You’re only really in the vocal minority. I genuinely rarely encounter anyone who’s actually read it and didn’t enjoy it.
It’s mostly that the same bunch, for the most part, moved on to the next
“development in a comic book that is ‘raping’ their childhood.” Last I checked, they were still in the market for a new thing to piss and moan about now that the Moira X stuff has kind of faded into the background.
Superior Spider-Man’s return is much clearer than Palpatine’s.
I’m at the mercy of my wife and kid on this one. Pretty much all I’ve watched on Netflix in the last two or three years was Old Enough and some of Kotaro Lives Alone (Maybe some of Spy X Family? I can’t remember if it was Netflix).
I’m sure law suits are one of the biggest triggers, but it’s also worth noting the repeating cycle of:
PG-13, cause bewbs.
Probably doesn’t feel like it’s going far enough.
Lick dat boot, chief.
Honestly, if I was a betting man, I’d assume it’s just some bullshit right wing anti-climate thing. Long Island cop is just too much of an Occam’s Razor for that.
I keep replaying the end sequence for TotK. It’s not the most groundbreaking stuff, but it is just the perfect cinematic “holy shit, this is all so god damn cool” of it sells it.
Literally nobody is bothered by the Xbox controller having removable batteries. The issue is that it doesn’t come with a rechargeable by default.
Uhhh, rechargeable lithium batteries were a thing, and were the standard for most portable devices, for literal decades before they started encasing them. Irreplaceable rechargeable batteries have only been a thing for less than a decade now and it really only cropped up when ip ratings became a thing.
Have you tried looking up a YouTube DIY video?
The wildest part is that it’s not even really “fridging.”
This is actually the most excited I’ve been about a DC film in yeeeeears. Probably since the first Wonder Woman film (Had its warts, but it was fun).
I must be getting very old. I only recognize two of these characters.
Not even. They’ll let them go and say it’s because DeSantis didn’t want to cave to the woke mob at Farmers.
