Depends on the genre. We’re not quite at the point where you can realistically do a sprawling sci-fi epic like Star Wars on the small screen, but we’re realistically at most five to ten years away from it. The only reason we’re not there already is that studios are clinging to the outmoded movie theater concept.

That and you won’t be needing any space battles in this premise. Spaghetti western, yo.

Defenseders.

I mean, the character and actor got three films to breathe. A TV series works much better in serialized television format.

I am fucking all over this. I think it works perfectly in this format, much better than a film would have.

Please please please let She Hulk be a law procedural. Like, just a standard law procedural except she's big and green.

Meh, no thanks for me. Honestly, I was lukewarm on the original Spider-Man (Hate Maguire, Hate Dunst and the fact he let the burglar die kills it in the end for me) and Spider-Man 3 was hot garbage (Which is a bit more universal, I know I’m in the minority on the former). 2 was great, though it doesn’t age

And Sony can look at the X-Men franchise as a cautionary tale on complacency with your properties. I actually liked ASM2, but I'm in the minority, had ASM 3 happened and been mediocre or worse, it'd have probably lost money.

Gooooooooo fuck yourself.

I mean, we can have both. Suikoden was an ongoing sequel that has yet to have a resolution, so I’d contend that fans of the sequel really do need a sequel.

To say nothing of the fact that it did something JRPGs were absolutely not doing at the time (And, to be honest, I don’t think I can name many other JRPGs that do this): a sympathetic and compelling main villain.

I sunk 95 hours into AC: Oddyssey without touching the DLC. I sunk over 150 hours into BotW, not accounting for a MM run.

I don’t want a spiritual successor, I want more Yuber in my life.

I would absolutely kill for a new Suikoden. It’s, to date, my favorite JRPG series. IV was an absolute pile of trash, but I-III were masterpieces and V was fun. I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone else whose favorite was III, though. I loved the perspective switches and it was groundbreaking at the time.

People keep talking about the bullpen, but something I’m not seeing anyone talk about is the fact that said bullpen is going to be absolutely gassed by September if the rotation doesn’t get it’s shit sorted and one pitcher isn’t going to do that.

It can’t have been that hard to get Michael Cera to play the dude at the end, could it?

This. Hickman’s the guy that they bring in when they mean business. Even when he started out at Marvel, his Secret Warriors arc went for years. Then he stuck with Fantastic Four for years. Then he basically redefined the entire line with his Avengers run.

It was among the things they listed as actively being worked on (Along with X-Men, Fantastic Four, and Captain Marvel 2), just not far enough along to provide any detail on.

Except, again, that’s never been how Thor has been established in Marvel lore. Read a fucking comic book.

Cool, maybe try reading it for some context?
