People who say that are dumb. Deadpool has worked in comics for over two decades without needing an R rating. If anything, Reynolds manages to exceed expectations by not letting the R rating make it a lazy exercise.

I’m late to the party on this one, but check out Wolverine and the X-Men sometime. It was easily the best adaptation the comic’s ever gotten, short lived though it was.

That was where the movies fucked up, because Jean was an integral character in the comics. The cartoon botched it pretty heavily too, as the show never really gave her a whole lot to do beyond standing around Professor X and yelling “Scott!”
