Check out Waid’s run sometime. I’ve never given much of a shit about the Fantastic Four, but the exceptions for me are Hickman’s run (Which is a masterpiece) and Waid’s run.

In one sense, it would’ve been cool to see it happen, but that also would’ve cheapened the arc a lot, I think.

And it’s like people don’t learn how cyclical comics are. Knightfall got the exact same shit back in the nineties.

Hopefully they just stick with using The Maker instead. He’s been a great villain for a while.

For all the flack that it gets as being the fallout of One More Day, most of Brand New Day was fantastic too (It started off super slow, but it got going really strongly after each writer got an arc under them). Spider-Man’s been running a long quality streak since maybe 2009.
