Then you recast her and play it meta as fuck by making fun of Marvel’s compressed timeline.
I think it would be more suited to the franchise to have Deadpool be the one looking him up Cable on wikipedia himself, making a weird face, and then just editing it to say “Complete Clusterfuck” and then destroying his phone.
I think the MLBPA needs to start giving a shit about the up and comers. They all want to piss and moan about not getting overpaid into their thirties, but they all expect the youth guys to “pay their dues.”
I tend to side with the players, but there’s a pair of key factors that a lot of these writers are ignoring:

Cool. Productive input.
Yeah, that one line just oozed Ford, especially that shit-eating smirk.
A lot of people seem to have some revisionist history on that deal.
Payoffs are something that show has excelled at.

Rumor has it that it’s Nick Spencer.
You know, it seemed really cool for a minute, then I considered how often most consumers will need four smart plugs in direct proximity to each other?

I don’t know about all that. I loved the source material and that was a big part of why I didn’t care for it. For all the talk of it being true to source I think it diverged way too far.
