I used to think DeSantis was a ‘not as stupid Trump’ but he’s just another grifter playing up GOP “outrage” to get his name in the news. No different than MTG or Bohbert, and he fucked up by wrapping himself in a Russian flag trying to capture the MAGAt market.

They do yank licenses from repeat offenders in the U.S. as well, and it doesn’t matter--they just keep driving. Again, the lack of public transport means that they just don’t have any meaningful choice if they need or want to get somewhere.

I think the other factor is the near draconian response to drunk drivers in many countries - like lifetime removal of driver’s licenses, such that drinking and driving isn’t considered an option in the first place. The problem in the US is casual acceptance that “everyone drives drunk some times.”

I am *praying* that DeSatan gets the nomination and Drump runs as an independent. Not only will that absolute ensure the Republitards lose, but it will be the most popcorn-worthy event in history.

We can only hope that Turmpzilla and DeSantisorah declare all out war on each other during the primaries and as a consequence make each other completely unelectable. That way no matter which one of them wins the primary, the Republicans lose in the general.
