You have that backwards. The classic GM (v8) trope is that the engine will always be running, even while the vehicle falls apart around it.
Perhaps this is due to coming of age after this vehicle was produced (though I love the 944s), but the 928 is a very unattractive vehicle. With the lights down, it looks cross-eyed.
