Yeah I get the same vibe when I look at the base V6 in a Chevy Silverado engine bay.
Yep. My runner's high kicks in strong around 10-12 miles... 13-26 are just painful... but that full pie does taste good!
Lift your reserve and I'll bid $52.
Rented an Exige S from Ron at RSR. Good guy and neat collection of cars!

Have to get the matching yellow seatbelts for another $2k
Everyone needs a hobby
Mazda rebuilt Alfred Morris' early 90s 626 that he still daily drives. Cost them probably $10k and they have a ton of press from it.
Tells you how much boost the Subaru in front of you is running so you can pull him over for emissions violations.
Prone to the hiccups... Turbo lag?
Needs to transport a family of four... "2 Caymans."
I hate to be the one to always post this but statistically bigger cars are safer which reinforces your argument. Being in a small car may increase your odds of swerving around a wreck but on the whole it's better to be in the 4,000 lb brick.*

Every car is jaw droppingly expensive in the UK. I believe the 48k includes tax, if this were a US spec car I'm thinking it would be priced around 35-38... Still expensive for a Miata but more reasonable.
This gets me thinking it would be neat to have a mag-lev car... Normal car until you get on specific highways then frictionless travel here you come!
My parents have two of them and love them for what they are. The range is up to 40 miles which means their daily commutes use zero gas. The payments are $230/mo for a lease. Figure in gas savings and it's an excellently appointed little commuting car.
Yes! One of my neighbors parks a beatup old turbo Caravan on the street. I think these came with stick shifts as well??
Mods almost never make the price go up... A new engine will increase the value of your car if the previous engine was low mileage and forged internals are a nice addition, but the fact that you have a turboback (and stage 2 tune?) probably means you whip your car which is a risk factor for buyers. No idea what your…
