The 2.0T is a pretty high-strung engine, meaning you have to drive it harder to get more performance and therefore more suited to a purpose-built sports car. I don’t have any experience with the 3.5 SC outside of driving the ordinary version in Avalons and Camrys but I can’t imagine that is as much of a high strung…
