Lotus Carlton!

Bye!

While I mainly do Saturday morning/Sunday morning Cars & Coffee meetups as I love the drive to/from, I’ll do an occasional actual “car show” here and there. Those are the ones that you pay to register. Not a fan of that unless it goes to a worthy cause. And the few I do, it’s because there is nothing going on, usually

I’m FREAKING HEATED!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬As someone who was both a car salesperson for 23 years at my local Ford store, from ‘97-’20 (I started at 20) where I had lots & lots & lots of repeat customers throughout my time (so I know I did right by them) but had to leave due to serious Crohn’s

I REALLY REALLY wish that the OP put the actual dealer name in his Reddit thread. 🤬 They need as many 1-star reviews as humanly possible!! And I own a Maverick, so this is even more infuriating! The whole concept of the truck was a cheap affordable & economical little truck. But give these to shiester dealers, that

Found the dealer in question’s burner account! Seriously, your a dick if you agree with this. I sold cars for 23 years at a Ford store. I talked people out of buying a vehicle when the car they wanted (Expedition for example) was over $900 a month when their current few year old Expy was doing just fine.

As someone who has owned their 2023 Maverick XLT Hybrid since October 2023 (I leased it for 3 years), I have ZERO issues with the shifter. If the author finds this being the sole reason he can’t consider it a “perfect truck”, he’s just looking for something to be mad at and not give the truck the credit it’s due.

I think 2002 is calling to have your comment back. I sold those Taurus sedans with the flip console. Most people didn’t want it. Everyone wanted the shifter on the floor. If you had a seat in middle of the front in a Maverick, only extremely little people would fit there. I own a hybrid XLT and love the layout inside.

Another term for this is a “spot delivery”. Dealers want to delivery the cars (especially on the weekend) before the customer changes their mind. They would take an app, and either get a full approval, or a pending approval with stipulations (pay stub, extra money, etc). Some sleazeball dealers will roll the car and

Umm, the Lotus Carlton/Omega were NOT AWD! RWD only. And only 950 made, all in Imperial Green. And it was the 2nd fastest sedan of its time. There are stories of it outrunning police.

looks like we found the Alex Choi burner account! 😂😂

There is one slight difference in your reply. A normal customer can’t just walk into a Porsche dealer and order a Turbo S to spec. That won’t happen. Unless you are on the VIP list, you have to grovel for a Carrera S allocation like the other pleebs.

No worries bud. 👍 Great minds think alike. 🥂

Just to let you know, you can already bring in a Lotus Carlton! They made 950 cars, all Imperial Green and made between 1990 and 1992. So 100% perfectly legal to bring over. There are a few already here. And I WANT ONE!!!

Hate to burst your bubble Bradley, but as someone who’s been searching for these basically every week, and using Google money conversion to see the USD prices & dreaming of the day to bring one over, while some websites say the Tuscan Speed Six started in 1999, truth is they are actually 2000-2005 model years. Every

From what I remember reading early on, the early adopters had to sign a contract that forbid then from reselling to anyone but Tesla for the first 12 months of ownership. Now I also thought I saw that this little caveat was removed from the Cybertruck’s webpage on Tesla’s site. So not sure if they are allowing owners

I gotta correct you on the 5% margins. Yes, that is probably accurate for a 50k and up F150 or Explorer, but for the other cars, like the Escapes at 30k, Bronco Sports around the mid 30s and for Mavericks especially, being they are hot as Tickle Me Elmo’s, this just isn’t the case. (full disclosure, I sold Ford

3.69 at Liberty in Trappe, Pa (a suburb of Philadelphia, near King of Prussia) if one pays cash (which I'll gladly go get some at Wawa. And that price is with the country's highest gas tax per state (we're at like .61¢ or close to it). So not terrible. Helps having a Fusion Hybrid (soon to replace with a Hybrid

Hey Bradley, I spied a Fuji Blue Chrysler Conquest TSi parked next to that Panoz AIV. Any chance you got a few shots of it? My absolute FAVORITE color in the StarQuests!
