I too have drawn a line in the sand with Trump supporters (whom I distinguish from ordinary republicans or conservatives- red hat people are their own breed). At this point, if you still support him then you’ve proven that you’re an irredeemably bad person. I’ve even written off family members over this.

I’m so ashamed, too. When Obama was elected I thought it meant we’d finally, truly turned a corner and were going to be rid of that racist cancer that undermines everything. I seriously thought we were going to become the best country on Earth with that millstone out of the way.
