Yeah in 2005 they started shifting panthers to the CANbus OBD II language, 05's were a bit of a bastard year as some part of the car was CANbus but some of it was still old school SCP (gauge cluster for one), in 06 everything went to canbus and I bet thats why they swapped out the tach

Well, originally they had a 3.73 rear gear, so assuming that wasn't also changed....
