This is so accurate that I don’t know whether to laugh or cry.

Because I’m against killing anybody, and I’m specifically against allowing the state to kill people.

Yep, that’s a big part of my objection. You can’t take it back. I mean, if we lock up an innocent person, it’s horrible, do not get me wrong. But at least that person has some shot at rebuilding his or her life once we figure it out and order a release. Can’t do that with executions.

I agree. For me one of the biggest reasons I am against the death penalty is that we get it wrong with some degree of regularity. Look at how many people have been released since the advent of DNA. I would rather the life of one innocent person be spared than to execute 100 guilty monsters.

I’ve been on that awful tour. That cylindrical room, the one where they keep inmates stacked on top of each other in chicken wire five stories high while circled by some sadistic fucks who don’t seem much more grounded than the most objectively horrible prisoner, gave me fucked up dreams for days.

The fact that our government has the legal right to kill its citizens has always seemed incredibly fucked up to me, even if said citizens are guilty of terrible crimes. I had the opportunity to tour San Quentin a few years ago, and part of the tour was seeing the chamber where they administer capital punishment at the

You’re right, I should rephrase. There’s no right way to kill someone, but torturing them for extended periods first because you’re incompetent seems not only morally wrong but also the wrong way to accomplish your stated and state-sanctioned goal.

That’s the problem. There is no “right” way to kill someone.

Trump has been sued for violating the fair housing act, cheated several cities and even several countries out of millions in property taxes (sometimes after his property renovations caused hundreds of thousands dollars worth of damages to the surrounding areas) bragged about his propensity to sexually assault any

The majority of Americans didn’t ‘get their way.’

Dom, loved this. These kinds of articles on underappreciated pieces of football teams enrich understanding of the game. Thanks!

During every discussion I’ve seen about legalizing pot, there is never an associated discussion with research into the painkilling potential of cannabinoids (the stuff does the actual job). If it was really about pain, we should be lobbying the government to take marijuana off the Class 1 register with heroin &

I have a feeling that the biggest reason for the ban has to do with the owners being old, rich, and white, and the players who seem to be asking most often to use this are young and black. Perhaps some more blanks to fill in, but thats the guiding principle.

I swear to God, if I hear one more person whine about how Hillary didn’t live up to their “oh-I’m-so-special-and-couldn’t-betray-my-values” standards I am literally going to scream. I am more angry at them than for the people who actually voted for Trump.

People keep hanging onto the idea of that laws and tradition will see us through the next four years. But, this is clearly not how the incoming admin. plans to operate.

That antlered Doe is almost certainly a genetic anomaly. Probably an XXY aneuploidy. The news story does not say how close to a nuclear power plant this deer was bagged.

It used to be if you walked down the street that if you saw a fascist, you could just start beating there ass. I don’t know why we stopped this practice.

Where exactly are you getting this idea that the guilt and shame of feeling suicidal is the only thing keeping some suicidal people from doing it? You have it completely ass-backwards: the “social pressure” prevents them from seeking help, thereby INCREASING the likelihood of suicide.

I once met a meth-head who tried to lure me back to his mobile home so I could help him disseminate "secret texts" he had downloaded from an FBI database that, purportedly, contained TOP SECRET information on the existence of an intricate underground tunnel system used exclusively by what are essentially omnipotent

See, what we're really missing here is the vaccine truther (IT'S NOT WHAT YOU THINK, GIVE ME A SECOND!).
