5. An easily hackable device over wifi becasue amazon cares about “security” not security.

“paranoia” Lol. Right, because cops have given people so many reasons to believe them and trust them... like illegally using facial recognition, illegally tracking people’s phones without warrants, and being 110% against all oversight.

...Alright, typically I don’t comment on Giz, but I feel like this comment section is missing like...several points about why buying a Ring camera isn’t worth it if you think you’re improving your “security”. Chief among those being;

You’ve never had an asshole neighbor I think. The type who calls the cops because they just think they need to control every aspect of the neighborhood or your life. The one who calls zoning the week after you move into a home because the fence the previous owner let fall into disrepair and you get fined because its

Yeah it’s all fun and games until you realize that a significant number of post on Neighbors boards say things like “there’s a suspicious black guy in the area” and, sigh, you realize they’re talking about you and your friends.

I am seriously taken aback by all the comments that minimize the alarm that we should all feel as a result of these serious encroachments on our privacy. By way of background not only am I am a prosecutor, but I’ve also recently had an iPhone (along with about $15 worth of change) stolen from my car, which was parked

Exactly right. He’d have a better shot at saying he’d waive the league of all future liability if he can wear his old helmet. The league would likely agree to this, but AB would be bonkers to suggest it. And the NFLPA would be opposed, as it would set a precedent of players acting in their own self-interest.

From the fanciest black tie dinner party to the lowest gathering of hobos and drunks around a trash can fire, there is one thing that will alway remain true: people with guns ruin fucking everything.

The St. Louis Blues are going to the Stanley Cup Finals.

<pedantry/> Melanin. Melatonin is that stuff that helps you sleep. But your point remains a good one. (Side note: why the hell is JD Martinez going? Is is just because he’s really into guns?)

David Price, Mookie Betts, Jackie Bradley Jr., Rafael Devers, Hector Velazquez, and Christian Vazquez

I’m surprised by Trump’s interpretation on this. The darker horse won, but then after an appeal on technical grounds, the judicial system declared the lighter colored horse - far less qualified according to oddsmakers - the winner. You’d think Trump would be on board.

Bookmarked the blog. Lots of good stuff in there.

Only one letter separates writer and waiter, after all, and the salaries are about the same.

Consumer Reports is excellent. Your apparent opinion of them is uneducated.

Avenatti’s biggest mistake, in terms of enriching himself through a grift, was trying to align with liberals rather than conservatives.

I would even say there’s a good chance he ‘owns’ one of these places. When I say ‘owns’ I mean purchased with Russian cash, as he doesn’t actually have money.

Thank you for this. I got to know Alex a bit better during my original run in 2006 (pictured) and the 2007 ToC. As you noted, he did his job and did it well, but he wasn’t one to hobnob much with the contestants, and that was perfectly fine. The only time we really socialized with him at all was at the on-set

I’m going to be the devil’s advocate here, even as someone who is now off football since the NFL and the Spanos family stole my team, but isn’t this the play though? Isn’t it expected that there will be very low ratings and attendance at first, that this isn’t meant to be an instant success?
