The Scan and Go feature at Sam’s is a game changer. Pile your shit in the cart, scan the barcodes with the app, exit employee scans a QR code and a few of your items, and you walk out the store. Doesn’t work for liquor, obviously.

There’s a simple and effective fix some companies, like VW, have had for years: have the instrument panel dim with ambient light so when it’s dark, so is the instrument panel unless the lights are on. Works great, but probably adds 6 cents to the build cost.

My last LAS-SFO flight was amazing, I picked the exact right seat to see everything you mentioned. Having not been there in 20 years, it was amazing to see it all again from a whole different viewpoint. Plus King’s Canyon, Hetch Hetchy...it was such a clear day.
