The EPA is a victim of their own success. Back in the 70s, large US cities had major problems with smog/air pollution, a lot of which came from cars. People today don’t realized how bad it was and the EPA gets thrown under the bus as another over-regulating, job killing big government agency.

Carmax is the place to go when you decide you want to buy a used German vehicle. They are one of the few places that offer a bumper to bumper warranty that will actually fix the problems. It’s a few grand extra, but well worth it.

I would be surprised if the dark on bottom design gets used. The lighter colors used on the bottom are there to help it blend in with the sky. That big dark blob in his new airplane would stick out like a sore thumb against a daytime sky.
