Posts lengthy internet screed after complaining that books are too long

You didn't need to make the disclaimer that you haven't read the book. That much was obvious from the rest of your op-ed. You also sound like you've only watched a highlight reel a few minutes long that some random person compilated and put on youtube...

"He was molested at 13 by a teacher who was not a pedophile, but a woman." How in the name of wtf is it not a pedophile but a woman? She is both a pedophile AND a woman. As if only men are pedophiles. :S

Thank you! As a feminist, straight male an a domestic violence victim (ex wife), I am constantly facing down the idea that only I and other cis males are capable of rape, assault, abuse, and intimidation.

Oooof. This hits really close to home. A few years ago, I went through a period where nearly every man I dated had some story about the much-older woman he had sex with while he was a very young teen. On the surface, it was always told as a tale of their virility and impressive masculinity, a story meant to make me

Its cute when she assumes all dissenting opinions come from white people, bonus points of hilarity when she assumes they come from white men. The mental gymnastics (and ethical hypocrisy) involved to arrive at that world view, and accept it as correct....jesus, its mind boggling.

Any health claim that includes the word "toxins" (unless the claim is "you shouldn't eat poison") automatically gets the eyeroll from me.

"binds to toxins" is not actually a thing. It has never been a thing. It is a marketing buzz phrase designed to sell snake oil to unwary shoppers obsessed with "alternative" health.

Yeah. Sure. "Binds to toxins". Right. The "wellness" community might be doing it, but what about the science community?

I'm sure Shailene's been "studying" this stuff, but probably from things published by kooks and quacks.

This site is weird. If Shailene weren't just the person we liked at the moment, I'm sure this post would've been how batshit crazy that sounded. The vaginal sunbathing was interesting, but eating clay? What?

And on the other hand, I'm a cis man. If there's no urinal, I can pee into the toilet. I don't have a urinal at home, and it's never been a problem.

Not that any of you should care about my opinion, but as a guy, I've never been one to appreciate "large" boobs. "Small" breasts are great! They firm, perky, and they age well.

To be fair, nobody reads Jezebel for the critical thinking. You come either to have your beliefs validated, or you come to hate-read.

I see Kinja is once again taking steps to achieve the ultimate shittiest comment system humanely possible. Keep working at it guys, it can still be worse! Don't settle for 2nd worst, I believe you can suck more than this!

Agreed. I hate when people assume sexual orientation based on looks alone. I often get mistaken for straight by both straight and queer people because I am femme but no high femme enough to signify as obviously queer. And even if girls are making out with guys, they could easily be bi.

Obviously straight? That's kind of rude. So you can just tell if someone is gay or bi just by looking at them now?

"Women, especially queer women, are highly sensitive, highly emotional beings"

"Lulu was created as a safe space for women to say whatever they wanted. Now it's become a much safer space for men too."

And this is tacitly "bad" because why?

If Lulu was a site where men could rate women they had slept with (or had a relationship with) y'all would go apeshit at how such an awful thing could exist.

I don't understand why there is the need for so many labels to define alternative sexuality. So complicated to keep all the labels separate from each other. Seems completely counter-intuitive to the sexual revolution that freed us from being so dominated by gender-specific sexual identity.
