Sigh. Can we not make this a gendered thing when so many men have also been under conservatorship? It’s apples to oranges: Sheen and Penn and Downey Jr didn’t have a stage parent like Jamie Spears. Good grief.
“literally”? What the fuck are you people on
Since when the fuck is a critic supposed to give the guy points for “trying”?
Yup, my husband works for Disney so we get all the staff discounts (around 30% for most things, including hotel, food and merch) but a trip for 6 from Seattle to Anaheim in Feb 2020 cost at least $6000. I can’t imagine how bad it is for people who don’t have the extra free passes and don’t only live just up the coast.
Thank you for saying that, actually. I know it’s a blessing that he can work from home, but it still really upended our lives. We’ve been inside since the first week of March, I’m not used to not having any personal space, and it displaces me from my bedroom for 12 hours or more per day. Add to that homeschooling, and…
Count me among the extremely lucky. My husband works in tech and they’re letting him WFH indefinitely. And I already did anyway.
I guess it makes sense--the pattern dictates that the perpetrator claims as many false identities as they can to be able to insert themselves into (and defend themselves in) as many conversations as possible.

The whole constantly cheating on his long suffering wife and ignoring his kids to hook up with cocktail waitresses might have something to do with it.
Really appreciate this analysis. Reminds me of something Ralph Nader once said, “Young wives are the leading asset of corporate power. They want the suburbs, a house, a settled life, and respectability. They want society to see that they have exchanged themselves for something of value.” I think this is relevant to…
Can anyone explain why this is being treated like a joke?
Nice to hear you guys are on the right side of this issue but frankly it's a little bittersweet. Your comments section here was a cesspool for years and years—you facilitated the hateful, entitled, clueless discussion that lead to this nasty atmosphere on this site and you let it breed. Honestly, blame yourselves!
The one at top on the far right, too stunning. I would wear the hell out of that.
Yeaaaah sweetheart, here's the thing. It's not "male bashing" if it's acknowledging a silent reality. Men are taught to view women as prey, and they treat us accordingly. It's a lesson I'm more than happy to pass on to my ten year old daughter with Frozen, to protect her. If it weren't so goddamn TRUE, I wouldn't have…
Supporting female empowerment=showing them how to best accessorize the big game day? M'hm.
"(Editor's Note: No, I have no idea why the sauce and the pasta were brought separately.)" Um because the person who ordered it asked for it on the side? lol
Oh give me a fucking break. Like you aren't aware this is more about her claim to "authenticity", of which she has none.
I am so glad my boyfriend isn't a piece of shit because I've never ever had to explain this to him, he already understood.
When they say it "shuts down discourse" what they mean is, letting people bicker and act in the comments often encourages repeat page hits, which drives up traffic and thus revenue. Having watched people return to the same story over the course of days to piss and moan about things like Pokemon and Sonic the Hedgehog…
