No. Transmissions are not efficient. The only reason cars have transmissions is the ICE. Once that is relegated to enthusiast cars, the transmission will be a relic of a bygone era like the carburetor or drum brakes.
I'm also so proud of your Yellow box.
Thanks Demuro. I am indeed in the U S of A.
In the last week I was accepted to a military academy it's been a good week.
This really has been a great week. You just topped it off Demuro. And for that I thank you.
Transmissions (both auto and manual) are stupid. Direct drive is far superior in every aspect.
This needs AWD... A LSD (better be torsen) is a nice touch but I predict wheelspin all the way to 3rd...
32k for a 300hp 5 speed Mustang? Yeah no. 300 ponies isn't a lot. 32k is a lot.
'Silver Lining' is a good choice too:
I drive a Volvo V70R with 280,000 miles. Just the labor cost to replace the clutch is more than the parts to keep the car running for 100k miles (and close to what I purchased the car for) ... It's cheaper to do it myself. Cars are giant LEGO sets at this point. Find failed part and replace... Computers have made…
The A10 is amazing. I'd love to fly one. It's in my top 3 after the space shuttle and SR71.
I need this in my life now.
Yes indeed it was. Although it was the invention of the transistor that led to the highly reliable engines we have to today.
6200 ft isn't a lot. A lot of GA airports have a runway that long.
Not cars but... 1935-1945...
That Pitts is bad ass.
Exactly why fast wagons are just the best. In a few years I'm going to supplement my V70R with an E63AMG Wagon...
E63 AMG wagon > Every other car ever.
