There’s a 0.1% chance Sony releases a $800 console on its own.
I wasn’t exactly thrilled with the end of GoT either but I’m pretty sure I moved on with my life 24 hours laters. I guess I’m bad at the internet because I just don’t have it in me to get worked up over it at this point.
I wasn’t a huge fan of the art style. There were some bits that looked good, but for the most part everything was just kind of dull and what you’d expect. Also the color scheme in this game was not very appealing to me.
Why would you not buy it because of that? Yeah, it’s a bummer if you get spoiled but you still don’t know what the rest of the story is like. Not to mention it could just be fun to play, story/spoilers aside.
It’s apples and oranges. They both tackle the sense of discovery in exciting ways, but do so very differently.
I think we’re already there. Maybe a few people think it’s amazing but general consensus seems to be it’s a good, not great, game. And that’s ok.
Oh, quiet. The game is nowhere near is bad as you’re making it out to be. It’s a decent Star Wars game which is all it ever needed to be.
Your lack of purchase will no doubt be felt hard.
Jedi Fallen Order, which I’m enjoying but at the same time I feel like I’ve played this type of game dozens of time before.
Probably some reasoning like “it’s a remake of an old game so that automatically means it’s not worth $60".
This is really just the same joke repeated about 12 different ways.
It’s definitely similar in that regard. My only complaint with how you get around in Fallen Order is all the climeable things and paths are way too obvious. In most cases it feels less like a real world and more like an obviously designed video game level.
If it’s a good game, 20-30 hours is more than worth it to me. I wouldn’t pay $60 for an X-wing/TIE Figther remake though.
It’s just nice to have a solid SW game. It doesn’t break the mold, but I think that’s fine in this case.
Heather in every review:
Then sell it and move on with your life.
Same here. Exiting a game and restarting is so engrained into me, it’s hard not to do it. It’s just habit. But I’ve been using the suspend feature more lately.
Those starters look better than the Sword/Shield ones.
Speedrunning seems way more fun to me when it’s like an actual race and not what’s basically re-programming the game while playing it.
