Well of course if you’re going to cherry pick bad games, it’s easy to say gaming’s best days are behind us. I could just as easily pick a handful of recently released great games and say we’re in gaming’s new golden age.

Serious question: why would you want to pre-order it at this point? We only know a few details about the hardware itself and nothing about games or the price of the console.  Plus, it’s not uncommon for console launches to be rocky.

I’m fine with buying those games now and skipping the only slightly improved PS5 ports later. I’ll just focus on actual PS5 games then.

I mean, Doom 2016 was released in fine shape.  That’s more credit to the developer, Id.

I don’t think the Switch version would cause them to push back all the versions.  They’d almost certainly want to get something out before the holidays if they could.

It’s not like all people are suddenly going to stop playing PS4 games so I’m sure they’ll be fine.

I don’t regret it playing it but it’s one of those games where I’ll probably never play through the campaign again. If anything, I might hop back in at some point just to mosey around the world, which is beautiful, and do some hunting.

I never got the sense he was a ghost.  I think people just jumped to conclusions because guessing any potential twists makes them feel smarter.

I agree it’s weird how “free” is always stated in these updates, but holy cow, settle down.  It’s not that big of a deal.

I don’t mind if they expand the Midgar section to a full game but it depends how it’s executed. If they add enough quality content to justify the price tag while taking at least 30 or so hours to get through, I’ll be happy.
