They look like generic solider toys anyway.  Why would any adult, or kid for that matter, want them?

You do get 3 tokens when hitting gold.  The game doesn’t make it very clear though.

You can get that trophy.  Go back and get better scores on the challenges.

I would pick up Oydssey if it weren’t for Red Dead 2 later this month. I just don’t have it in me to play through two huge open-world games back to back like that.

Oh I realize S2 of Daredevil wasn’t as warmly accepted as the first.  But my point was there are still so many shows out there which are so much worse.

To each their own, but you must not watch many shows.

I think Tony will retire/start a family with Pepper.  I bet RDJ would still be game to cameo in a movie here and there.

Agreed. Plus there was all that family foreshadowing with Pepper in IW. Cap will die (after making amends with Tony) but Tony will retire and possibly pop-up here and there in a mentorship capacity.

This made me think of a classic Onion article:

To be fair, video games can be a much bigger time commitment than books so I see where he’s coming from.

Yeah. I still haven’t played Origins and while I would like to play Odyssey, it honestly feels too big for me to want to play through which is a weird complaint.

I don’t think the examples you listed are indicative of some larger trend. The fact is, there are always going to be some games that struggle a bit to adapt to the Switch’s portability.  I think it’s a just a coincidence we’re seeing a few higher profile games run into this in a short amount of time.

I would consider picking this game up if it weren’t for Red Dead Redemption 2 later this month. I just can’t do two time-sucking open world games back-to-back like that.

If Toadette + the crown = Peachette

Slow news day, huh.

Honestly, Destiny’s whole art style is pretty damn generic. It looks like a dozen other video games. I don’t blame them at all for not being able to guess it from a 3 second video.

Don’t forget the Netflix show.

I’m curious about Call of Cthulhu too. I hope there’s more to it than investigating & conversation though. Definitely need reviews on that one first.

For me, it’s:

I think Kotaku wants it both ways. Sure, they’re a blog...until they’re not. An article like this Bowser one could literally be next to a Serious Video Game Journalism (TM) piece written by Jason or Stephen.
